Plus, To me at least, i find Nagi (or Uzuko) action rather childish and even in the end, she still fail to realize or understand why Michiyo becoming non-violence (not even showing regret), once you reach end-game, you have no enemy to fight with and no friends to called allies, she took Ranko and Nagi because both don't view her as a warmonger but simply a person who is passion as a maid, in the end, all i see is a petty queen with a silly hat who attack the pigs not out of grudge but all because she doesn't want to be lonely and finding any boring reason for her simply exist, and died in a undignified and pathetic death.

Even the person who had her entire cafe killed off by the very cafe they were enemies with, saw reason. Man, and dont even get me started when she shot the ramen store owner. From that point she needed some lead through that thick skull of hers..

Shes also the type of villain to keep killing off their subordinates stupidly, like wasnt that the lion girl, one of her best cafes that she just killed?? bruh.

TBH, forget about (over)hyped/-rated mainstream anime, because this is a true hidden gem alongside Lycoris Recoll. Not that I have anything against mainstream anime per se, but there are so many overlooked anime without getting enough recognition.

Unfortunately, Lycoris Recoil suffered after witnessing both the hero and the villain survived, which gives us a barfing, saccharine conclusion with a middle finger.

Akiba Maid War doesn't do that. It only leaves us a speculation of whether the rest of Oinky Doink were dead aside from Ranko.

If I'm being honest, Akiba Maid Wars had a better ending than Lycoris Recoil.

I'm glad that Nagomi had survived Nagi's gunshot, but at the cost of her lower body, she's stuck on a wheelchair, good thing is the Akiba is free from violence and two of the Maid Otakus have return. But I feel bad that the Ramen chef had to die before he could see the end. As well as the rest of Oinky Doinky staff except the panda.

Throughout the episodes, some characters' deaths had no one to blame but themselves:
-If Michiyo had noticed Nagi's problem sooner, she would have avoid her own death, and things could have become different in 1999.

- If Ranko had double checked to confirm all her victims were permanently dead since she didn't intend to leave any survivors during Wuv Wuv Moonbeam massacre, she would have never get stab before the final episode.

- If Suehiro had not simply dispose of maids whom he had contact with, he would able to show his sincerity and affection towards Ranko.

- If Nerula had not tipped the police to sabotage Maidalien's plan, she would have able to delay Nagomi's trauma.

-If Akai had not say too much of how good Oinky Doinky Cafe was, he would able to live 2018 along with his two buddies who used to hang out in Akihabara.

If guns wore not sold in Akiba, there be no drama xD
